Sorata Kanda (神田 空太Kanda Sorata) is the male protagonist of the Anime Zeigen The Pet Girl of Sakurasou (Sakurasou no Pet na Kaojo).He is the resident of room 101.He was kicked out of the standard school dorm after he chose not to throw away a stray cat he picked up. As many of the Sakura Dormitory residents have outstanding grades and art skills, he often feels plain and normal among them. A major plot of the story is around how his personality and self-expectation evolves.
Sorata is a junior taking the general curriculum. He was told to live in Sakurasou against his wishes. Because he's a helpful person, the dorm students place him in charge of Mashiro duty.His goal is to escape Sakurasou.
