Why do some people hate Rose so much?

I dont know theres obviously no reason not to these people are just insane!

....I've NEVER like Rose.
Why?
In the first episode she abandoned her long time boyfriend, who was CLEARLY traumatized from his ordeal, with just a simple "thanks" and then she runs off with a Zufällig stranger. When she returns, finding out that she's been gone for a year, she leaves it up to Mickey to come find her. Later, her mother walks into the TARDIS and is obviously scared and shocked. Rose doesn't follow her mom to comfort her, she first goes into the TARDIS to chat with the Doctor. A few episodes later, we find out that Mickey has started dating someone else. Rose is angry, even though she's always gone, doesn't give a damn about how Mickey feels, and expects him to just wait around until she's ready to come back to him. When she meets Sara Jane for the first time, the first thing she does is cut her down and shoo her away from the doctor. When Mickey starts traveling with the doctor along with Rose, she helps the doctor cut own every Frage and Kommentar Mickey makes, and openly mocks him for not understanding things that she hadn't when SHE first started. She wasn't nice, she wasn't heroic.
Yeah. Great character, guys.

people who usually Liebe the 9th and 10th doctor usually Liebe rose . why ? because she was just so good with them and she made a great companion for BOTH of them . people who prefer the 11th doctor cant see rose with him ( i Liebe rose to death but i cant see her with him ) . (cant see amy with the 9th oder tenth either) . people also dont like rose because of how shit like she treated mickey . but when Du think about it wasnt to shit like. i admit when she left him like that she was being a hündin but hell i would have to - alien dude with a box thats bigger in the inside thatll take Du away through time and Weltraum , oder a overly attached guy who wasnt his own person AT ALL . (it took him going to a parralel world living with his grandma fightin aliens and trödel, schrott, junk-e- etc etc then it has to do with how she treated her mum after she got back . but that wasnt like shit , jackie was screeching at her and accusing her of lying . do Du really think she was about to tell her she went to Weltraum and saw the earth explode years before it happens . why i Liebe rose : she was caring and compassionate and she was just awsome and just , the fun companion . she wasnt all serious and shit like the companions we have to Tag . its hard to explain but she was just so .....

Okay, there's a reason why people hate Rose and its simple.
She isn't a Dr Who Companion - oh, Russell T Davies tries to make us believe she is, does a hell of a lot to try, but he fails - Rose is very similar to those one-time companion's who get dropped off when the Doctor realises it's not about Wird angezeigt them the universe, it's about them, all about them.

Du see, the big problem with Rose was she was very self involved, even with things people say as pro's to her should be re-evaluated.

Take her rant against Cassandra for instance, taken on face value, it's a message of the insane nature people go to to be different with plastic surgery.(as stupid pop culture was a thing with the RTD era)
But look at it seriously for a moment.
Rose is a Human, she looks Human. Cassandra say's she's "The Last Human", but she doesn't look like it.
So Rose attacks that, it's not like her, so it's wrong!

The idea that conforming to a pre-set idea of what is supposed to be normal isn't Dr Who, we see that with several episodes penned Von better writers than Davies.

In that one sentence, the Doctor showed Donna and us the audience that just because they look weird, doesn't mean they don't have feelings and are people.
I generally point my hate towards Russell T Davies, because Billie Piper is a good actress, she just never got anything worthwhile in episodes that mattered when she was Rose.
Now that. That is a good character, showed her Schauspielen chops and gave her something worthwhile to use.

I think it could be jealousy I mean she came from hard times but kept a positive attitude. She managed to get a good job at Torchwood despite not having a full education and despite being judged she ends up with someone like the Doctor and Rose is pretty, nice, Merida - Legende der Highlands and she cares plus the Doctor sagte she made him a better man I mean she did stop him from killing a Dalek and she has saved his life a few times. Maybe it's not just hate but some jealousy too.

I haven't ran into many people who hate her, just some, and they usually are ones that ship the Doctor with someone other than Rose. Yeah, obviously, since if they hate her, but maybe that's one of the reasons. That *in my opinion* the Doctor loved her. And yes, she might have had some annoying qualities, but so do the other characters, any many have a lot Mehr of those than Rose *again, in my opinion*. But I never really found Rose full-on annoying, and I definitely don't hate her! She's my Favorit companion. So yeah, I don't really understand why some people hate her, either. I've noticed that also some of the viewers who prefer Matt Smith's Doctor and Amy/River don't like her very much. But again, don't know why. I like Matt Smith's Doctor and I like Amy, and I have pretty much nothing against River, and I still Liebe Rose. Though David Tennant is my Favorit Doctor, so I'm not really a good example.. Well, whatever XD I'm sorry for my babbling.

my best awnser to that is beucuse she fell in Liebe with the doctor and vise virsa the doctor fell in Liebe with her and as meany know the doctor is no saposto fall in Liebe expesicaly with a human thats why he was so distant with martha

Honestly? I really don't know why. I Liebe Rose. She's kind, brave, true, and absolutely brilliant!

Okay, so, it's mostly because: 1.She is EXTREMELY ungrateful and just abandons her mother and her boyfriend who were both traumatized, she also makes many many many poor choices that effect a lot of people and she just says "Sorry." In fact, I remember an episode where the doctor had to ASK for her apology. 2.She is jealous of like....every single female character that even speaks to the doctor. 3.She in fact is a Mary Sue. Beautiful, sad back story, and over all just comes off exeedingly annoying. That is why a lot of people hate her.

Some people do not like how she treated Mickey. She did kinda say thanks for nothing and run away with an alien in a blue box. I liked Mickey, but he was just some guy. Not the Liebe of her life. I would have ran off with the doctor too.

Others do not like Rose because of the whole Liebe story. They think the Doctor is not suppose to fall for his companions. Although the 8th doctor fell for Dr. Grace Holloway.

Doctor Who Logic: The Doctor likes Rose, I like Rose. Simple.

Usually it jealousy of rose being the doctors love. And that counts for river song being the doctors wife

I think maybe people who like Martha oder ship Martha and the Doctor might not like her because the Doctor doesn't like Martha in that way because he still loves Rose. (Personally I think Martha can be very insensitive towards the fact the Doctor has just Lost Rose) oder they might just hate her for no reason at all.. She is in my personal oben, nach oben 10.

It's like how one of the reasons ppl don't like rose is b/c she left Mickey and her mother after the nestene conscious incident. But they are clearly forgetting about the beginning of the episode where Rose is at Home and neither her mother oder mickey give a crap about what just happened to her at work. Her mother is on the phone worried about compensation and Mickey is Mehr worried about going to the pub and seeing a game than comforting Rose. It's funny how moments like this are overlooked.

Aside from the fact that Rose helped the Doctor regenerate, she wouldn't have helped anyone else if the Doctor was around. Rose was extremely rude and selfish. She made her boyfriend wait around for her and then was rude and angry with him because he was dating someone else. She wanted all the attention for herself. Then when Mickey came along with the Doctor and Rose, she continually made fun of Mickey and cut him down. She also comes off as having a very high opinion of herself and her looks.. when she's just meh.

Because she's kind of a hoe. She goes after literally every even semi attractive dude. It's pathetic and annoying. Plus, she's extremely selfish. That's all I dislike her for. Bye.

I liked Rose in series 1, but Von the time series 2 ended, I was glad she was gone..

Especially the way she acted in school reunion to both Sarah Jane and The Doctor himself

But what pissed me off the most was in Doomsday prior to her getting sucked into the alternative version of Earth.

She was willing to CUT HER MOTHER OUT OF HER LIFE COMPLETELY for a man.

Yes, everyone leaves Home when they grow up, but THEY DON'T CUT ALL TIES WITH THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS, THEY STILL COME TO VISIT FROM TIME TO TIME.

This would include Jackie not having her daughter attend her FUNERAL when she dies...

Some "loving" daughter. Yes, I know Jackie was kind of annoying, but she was still her MOTHER.

This is not a condemnation of Billie Piper as an actress, as I feel that performance wise, she was one of the better ones on the show, but character wise, Rose Tyler went from being a likeable girl-next-door type to being an outright HYPOCRITICAL BITCH.

Now as far as her looks are concerned, I do think that the character wore WAY too much makeup, but I won't judge her insgesamt look, because that's Mehr judgements of Billie Piper than of Rose Tyler.

With all that said, I don't actually HATE her as hate is a strong word, and it's not like she's evil oder anything. But I did find her ANNOYING as hell.

It messes with there ship.
