I stared at her. ‘Bella, be quiet! I’m trying to put Nessie to sleep!’ I snapped, putting Renesme in her cot.
‘I wanna do that!’ sagte Bella.
‘Do Du always have to whine? And can’t Du see Nessie likes me?
Bella stood up, glaring at me. I glared right back.
‘Rosalie,’ sagte Edward. I turned to face him. ‘Give Ness-Renesme to Bella.’ I stared at him. ‘Rosalie!’ He sagte in a warning tone. As if he could take me. ‘I can, Du know!’ sagte Edward, smirking. I threw Renesme over to Bella. The clumsy freak dropped her, even though I threw perfectly....

17: Wheel in the Sky

Dying is not what most people think it is-nothing flashes before your eyes, there’s no white light oder what have you. The only thing I felt was pain, the blood flowing through my hemd, shirt and fingers, making them sticky and beginning to form a mantel on my clothes. I couldn’t see much beyond the few feet in front of me, the sun had long such set and darkness had fallen on schnell, swift wings. There was one sound: my blood pulsing like it was right in my ears. Eventually I made it to the gras, grass hügel where I fell, too weak to walk another step.
