Robert Pattinson: Neither. It was for a movie where I play a soldier who discovers Saddam Hussein. The shooting should have begun in the spring, but was postponed to the autumn.
Interview: Du are the leaving roles that are in the Fantasy field Mehr and more, and doing Mehr realistic roles. Do Du agree with that?
Pattinson: Du have to have as an actor luck to get good roles, and if I get the chance to play a role, I take it. If Du should be really realistic, which is either Zufällig oder it is subconscious.
Interview: At the "Kino International" here in Berlin, the loyal Fans are camping since yesterday celebrating the "Cosmopolis" Premiere tonight . Did Du ever think that roles like this might scare them away. Fans might prefer to see Edward Cullen, the vampire instead of Eric Packer, the stock market millionaire with an identity crisis?
Pattinson: I don't think so. Since shooting "Bel Ami", something strange happened.! My Fans started giving me their Favorit books. It happened yesterday when I was in Paris and there were evenings at the premieres the line of people give me Bücher too. Isn't that incredible?
Interview: Do Du look vorwärts-, nach vorn to getting the books? And Du actually take them all?
Pattinson: Yeah, of course, because there were really outstanding Bücher among them. Among other things, one of Lawrence Ferlinghetti.

Pattinson: If my films inspire one out of a hundred to read the corresponding book, and to deal with another issue that would be deeper, then that's really wonderful. Cinema can be Mehr than just pure entertainment. At least sometimes.
Interview: I read that Du sagte that Du no longer want to star, sterne in teen movies?
Pattinson: Yeah, I've read too. Someone misunderstood me, oder I didn't explain properly. Who says that "Cosmopolis" is not a young persons film? If a film has a sex scene oder violent scenes , then the film is now classified as an adult film, no matter what is there. These categories are completely absurd. No, I would never really say that!
Interview: But "Cosmopolis" is really not a film for young teenagers, right?
Pattinson: Well, I wasn't easily shocked as a youth. And let's be honest: Every young person today looks at hardcore porn and has seen much grosser things than what's in our film.
Interview: Yes that's right. That is, that with "Cosmopolis" parents have nothing to worry about . All of the "Twilight" Fans can then be sent safely to the movies!
Pattinson: Unless the parents are opposed to dialogue. If they think, "Oh no, I do not want my child to get involved in so many words", then Du should probably keep them from seeing our movie! (Laughs)
Interview: When we're on the subject Rating: Du are naked in a lot of your films.
Pattinson: Yeah? That's true actually.
Interview: How do Du feel when Du have to get naked on the set?
Pattinson: I'm English. I'm Mehr insecure than the others. Everyone else is always totally relaxed on set, even with nude scenes. I'm always terribly tense and anxious.

Pattinson: If I trust the director oder necessarily want the film to be good, it is easier. But if that's not the case, I feel like a prostitute. (Laughs)
Interview: Du have put exciting Jahr behind you. What was your greatest and your worst experience?
Pattinson: Phew ... hm ... There were a lot of both. I would say that our film being accepted at Cannes, was certainly one of the best moments. I am very grateful. Du know, I was hoping that there would be a time where I would have a film would in competition, perhaps in ten years. And this has happened now. Absolute madness.

Pattinson: Well, Du know, journalists were asking me since the first "Twilight" movie if I was afraid of being typecast and then along comes the first film after the Twilight series and it's immediately in competition at Cannes. I was totally overwhelmed about that.
Interview: How did Du find yourself in your first non-vampire role?
Pattinson: I Liebe the movie. I think that it's my best work. I have always felt uncomfortable when I saw myself on screen before. Here it was the other way around.

Pattinson: It may sound a bit weird, but I like the dialogue, pronouncing it . The language, the sentences the way they are written - they're beautiful.

I read twilight and saw the movie but for someone out there that didn't read oder see twilight oder just read a little of twilight and can't decide what to do, i'm here for you. The book and the movie are both very good. But my opinion, the book was better. So much Mehr descriptive, Mehr feeling. The movie is also good. I'd give it 2 and a half stars in the paper. It was good because Du could actually see what was going on. Du can hear them talking but Du can also hear the words perfectly spoken if Du listen to the book. What I did was I read the book and then saw the movie. It was great because Du knew the story and it was like the story jumped out of the book and onto the screen. ALMOST! Some of the greatest parts of the book weren't in the movie!
