How do i braek up with a guy without hurtting him?

Dear jacobblack45,
u cant break up with somone without hurting them but u can break up with them without hurting them MUCH.
so heres wat u shouldn't say:
We'll still be friends.
See u around.
We could stay in touch,hey lemme call u later!(this is good sometimes,but it can also give him the idea that maybe u want to get back with him)

It's also not a good idea to run away if he starts crying,but it's not a good idea to give him a hug either.
here are some things u should say:

We've had an amazing time together but i dont see things working out for us.(also explain why eg. he's clingy,u like somone else etc)
Ur a great person and so am i and it'd be a waste if we gave that up.we should be able to find somone to appriciate us enough ha?

And if he says something,don't look bored and listen to wat he's saying.
after all it's not him that's the heartbreaker and maybe he has something important to tell u.

Well, to be honest I don't think there will be a way that someone can break up with someone else without hurting them the least bit.

But what I would suggest Du do is to be gentle, sweet, kind, and always put in that Du would Liebe to keep him as a close friend :)
Try to be very sympathetic with his feelings, and with doing this avoid doing oder saying anything that Du may think would hurt him...
