So now are there any differences between J-Pop and K-Pop oder are these international musical genres about the same?

Do Du know what J-pop and K-pop mean?

Japanese pop Musik and Korean pop music. The biggest difference is the language. If Du pay attention to what they are actually saying. There's a difference.

One is Korean.
One is Japanese.

It's pop Musik (although other genres fall under Kpop and Jpop too). Pop Musik has a similar sound wherever Du are in the world, only difference being the language being spoken.

Sometimes a deciding factor in people's preference between Kpop and Jpop lies within the visual side of Musik videos, because both genres put an emphasis on the visual portrayal of the Musik whether that's set, dancing, outfits etc.

Correct me if I'm wrong; K-pop puts Mehr emphasis on dance then J-pop does. And I think J-pop has...stranger visuals. I also believe that J-pop tends to be Mehr cutesy than sexy where as K-pop is the reverse.

But this is only based on my (probably) limited observation.
