Tell me what Du think..

I feel like life in general is pre-written, as asked, but at the same time it's our choice as to which paths to take. Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, my friend, they both lead to somewhere destined, but it's still my choice which to take. As for the second, I'm not quite sure what I believe in. My mom is seventhday adventist, in which they've interpreted the Bible's passages as that we rest in the ground in a stage of "sleep" before judgement. Those die-hard Fans of Jesus Christ believe that the Devil himself and his demons act as ghosts of our deceased loved ones in order to trick us. Why would believing that my wonderful grandmother is an Angel – Jäger der Finsternis now looking down on me, is a bad thing that will send me to Hades is honestly something I don't comprehend. But still, just because of that, I'm totally confused as to what to believe in, in regards to ghosts and the Engel of my loved ones.
All I know, is that I suffer, as most teenage humans do, quite a lot, and that if my grandmother is looking down from me in "Heaven", then it's really not Heaven for her. Because I'm sure she'd be suffering if she saw me suffering.

Well, if our lives are pre-written, then there goes free-will. Seriously, it's bad enough I was brought into this world practically against my will, I don't need it suck that much more. I believe the Weiter one, yes, though it is sometimes hard.

I think we are all characters of a book, and that the writer writes down our commands, thoughts, and feelings. That's why when we forget what we are going to say that's the Autor backspaceing on a keyboard.

Ooh, complex philosophy. I don't believe in predestination, but I do believe each individual human in inclined to act in a certain way and make certain decisions as a result of their genes, upbringing and experiences which can seem like predestination because Du can describe them as 'destined' to do something oder 'always' going to make that decision.

As for the Sekunde part, it depends how Du define 'by our side'... Personally, I believe that after death souls enter a new spiritual plain (call that heaven oder the spirit world oder whatever Du wish) so I don't believe that their spirits are literally physically (or metaphysically... hmm) Weiter to you, but their Liebe and care can influence and support you, so in that sense maybe they are 'by your side'.
