A notebook is for writing, drawing oder whatever. its cool, but at least know what Du want to do in it before Du buy the actual object. if Du don't want to do that, don't buy the damn notebook.

I personally Liebe writing. I have notebooks just for planning stories and then some for drawing my characters. And then a few for the actual story.

Maybe Du can keep a dream journal if you're into that kind of thing.
