Bad gerd can Du help?

I am a teen and since I was 7 and oder 6 I have suffered from gerd I just moved to Boston MA and have lived in Oregon all my life so it's making my gerd worse...every morning I have stuck burps and can't get them out this morning I had wassermelone and it made me burp I sat on the couch feeling wassermelone coming up my throat all chunky my mom sagte we'd go to the store and get some gas X and antacids while we were driving I felt weird my stomach was empty but I still had the wassermelone coming up my throat we got Home and I ate I felt good after a while I'm feeling the watermealon again can Du give me any tips oder Info is it normal to be hungry but still have Essen in you're stomach with gerd thanks :)
