Help! I need Guter Rat on how to tell my non christian bf that I won't have sex until I'm married

Yes, I'm posting this in Mehr than one spot because I need some help. I don't expect to actually find real Guter Rat on this spot though, but it's worth a try... It doesn't matter whether you're christian oder not, I want as much Guter Rat as I can.

Hi, I'm a 20 years old christian and I've been dating a guy who's not christian for about a month. Whenever we're together we cuddle and KISS and I can see that he wants us to go further and have sex (which is the most normal thing for a couple nowadays), but even if I also want to, I always stop it there because I don't want to have sex until I'm married.

How can I tell him in the smoothest possible way? I just don't want him to be mad at me. If he can't stand this and wants to break up, that's okay because this is important for my beliefs but I just don't want him to get angry... We haven't talked about religion at all yet.

Now for the Guter Rat part. Other than honesty and trust, communication is the most important thing in a relationship. Just be direct with him and tell him how you're feeling. If he doesn't respect your beliefs and gets angry then he's a douche and Du should be glad Du found out the type of person he is. Du should probably have this talk with him sooner rather than later, because Du don't want him to feel as if Du were leading him on oder anything.

If he refuses to respect your wish, then the relationship's not worth it.
I know that sounds harsh, but if Du keep going, it could hurt the both of you. (Physically, spiritually and emotionally).
