What are your tips for avoiding procrastination?

I'm heading towards the end of school life and I'm finding with my homework piling up I'm procrastinating Mehr and more. What's your advice?
Please try not to say the obvious.
E.g.
"Why are Du asking me? Du should be doing your homework!"
"I'll tell ya later. Maybe. If I can be bothered."

Unlike the other commentor, I actually know what procrastination is since I have been a repeat offender in the past.
I don't do it as much now, since I have sadly learnt my lesson.

One of the main ways to fight the war against procrastination is time management. I know it's cliche and may be "impossible" for some people, but it's worth it. Make like a time schedule where Du Weltraum things out and plan your days out. For example, as soon as Du get home, basically lock yourself in your room and avoid ALL distractions (no computer, no TV, no texting, no parents/siblings to talk to, no staring at the Wand since it's Mehr interesting than homework). Do your hardest homework first. Work for about an Stunde oder so, then take like a 15 Minute break to do whatever Du do for fun. Then when the 15 Minuten in over, go back to your quiet place and get back to work. Keep up this routine till all your homework is done. Once you're done, reward yourself with like an Stunde of fun (if it's not too late). I know it's hard to stop procrastination once Du start (it's practically an addiction), but just go straight at the work head-on. No stalling, just dedicated work.

Also, I find it easier to not temporize if Du do homework with friends, even if it's over the phone. Call them up and say, "hey wanna work together?" Even if it's mostly awkward silence where you're both working, it'll keep Du focused and decrease your temptation to go do something else.

And as for studying, I set aside a separate time (about 45 Minuten a day) to go over all notes I took in class to make sure I understood everything and got the gist. It's MUCH easier to break stuff up and do a little each Tag than to cram oder do all your homework at 10:00 at night.

Lastly, if your procrastination is getting so bad to the point that it's affecting your amount of sleep and grade in school, talk to your parents. I know you'll think it's a dumb, childish thing to do, but it HELPS. Tell them that Du need them to keep Du focused and make sure Du get your homework done as soon as Du come Home from school. That way, they'll nag Du to complete it all.

Sorry I couldn't be of Mehr help, but I was finally cured of my procrastin-itis last Jahr after my first AP course. I really hope Du change your work habits because, talking from personal experience here, if not it'll come back and bite Du in the ass. lol

Procrastination means putting off something important like homework. It's hard so Du don't do it and go and do something fun instead.
