I'm in a situation...

Du want to be a Christian goth, yet you're insulted Von your parents for being a goth.
The fuck?
If Du WANT to be a goth, Du shouldn't be INSULTED oder ASHAMED for being called a goth. It's what Du want right? Don't be ashamed when your parents call Du goth. Say "Thank you! You've noticed~." oder something like that. Become what Du want, and see if Du really do want to be a Christian goth because it's a lifestyle that appeals to you, not because Du want to be one.

Well Suchen for some christian goth artists to use them as examples... Are Du a protestant? If Du are, doesn't your church have pastors Du can get an appointment with and with whom Du can talk so that Du can find some solution?

All I can say is, be you. If that Du is Goth, then I don't see the problem. If you're Christian that's great that Du believe in God. People are just judgemental and stupid and always will be wherever Du go so all Du can do is try to ignore them.

Nobody can't order Du how to look like-neither your parents.Christian goths are cool & if Du want to be one of them Du have to be strong enough to stand up to your parents and everyone else..Just don't give a f*ck about what anyone says.

I think Du should talk to the calmly, like an adult. Explain why Du think this way and Zeigen them examples of other Christian Goths. Try to be really good in the days before Du do this, though. Try cleaning and doing chores without being asked to, and be really nice (not that Du aren't already).

Argue with them. Tell them how going goth isn't going to change your Liebe for God and Jesus, and that it is just a lifestyle that a lot of good people do just because it made them feel unique.

Then, after the talk, do the walk. Whether oder not they approved of your style, go goth and Zeigen them that Du haven't and will never let antything as trivial as a Gothic style ruin your relatioship with God. Go to church in goth, pray morning, noon, and night in goth, read the Bible in goth, and eat and sleep in goth. That'll Zeigen 'em! ;-)

yeah my parents are overprotective too, i have no fb..well anyway i think Du should be true to yourself and tell your parents no matter how crazy they think Du are. Du have to let them know that, that is who i am and what i love. They have to understand that and be supportive to you, rather than making fun of you. Be true to yourself no matter what ANYONE thinks. Hope this helps!

I think that's really great. I want to be the same thing, so I understand what Du mean. Also, if your parents are "ashamed" of you, they obviously do not support you. They should be able to support Du in anything. (except for like being a rapist oder something...). So just tell the truth to your parents, and remember, God will be with you.
