Hunger games?

My Friends invited me to go see the movie Hunger Games and I really want to go but...
My dad doesn't know of he should let me go. He's ok with it being PG-13 but he wants to know to what extent it is. Like there's violence but how much? I just want to know if Du think the movie will be something he'll bite?

I don't care for the Hunger Games. You'd have to look at the trailers, make a guess, and then attempt to persuade your father to let Du go. If he agrees with you, go see the movie. If not, simply obey his wishes and don't go see it. After all, it'll be on movie channels soon enough.
