Can someone PLEASE tell me?

I want to know what //shot means - I've asked a few people and I think they think I'm just trolling which I'm not - I've seen it on loads of posts and have no clue what it means - nobody I know knows what it is either - thanks in advance to whoever finally Antwort this for me - and PROPS! :D
