Yes. I don't see why Atheists shouldn't celebrate Christmas. There is proof that Jesus really existed - although most likely not as the son of God, just as a really cool guy who wanted peace. I respect Jesus' views, and although I am not a Christian, I strongly agree with most of the morals in the Bible. A lot of it makes sense. Anyway, Weihnachten is really Mehr of a cultural than religious celebration now - it has now become a traditional western holiday.
I personally think that everybody should celebrate Weihnachten - it is the holiday that endorses peace and goodwill after all. Isn't that everyone's concern?

Jesus did not write the bible And he didn't lie about everything - I suspect that all the stuff about him being the son of God was created Von the authors (FYI, they are Matthew, John, Luke and Mark) to emphasise Jesus' virtue . If Du know anything about the bible, Du would know that Jesus wanted peace and Liebe between people, which I personally think shows that he iwa a good guy.
^agree...i am a christian and no he did not write the bible. like EalasaidWooster sagte matthew, mark, luke, john, peter, paul, and jude are the authors of the new testament in the bible. and the old testament has a lot of authors and i will not name each one. Jesus was a great man and when Du say "lies" RobinFan360, that is not correct. if Du are a christian and that is your faith then they are not lies, but to other religions these are Mehr theories oder beliefs. they are not facts. they are not facts and they are not lies either because neither can be proven. it all depends on your beliefs but NOBODY'S beliefs are facts oder lies. they are theoies.
I'm an Atheist and I enjoy Christmas. I like spending time with my family and friends, enjoying each other's company, and doing gift exchanges. Plus Weihnachten is celebrated in different ways, for different reasons all around the world.

Exactly. X-mas is celebrated in different ways. But some don't realize that.
I'm an atheist and my family does, but mostly out of tradition. My parents don't believe in God, but they were both raised in strongly Christian families, so they've just continued the tradition with my little sister and I. We just don't go to Church oder do the religious aspect oder anything. There is still emphasis on the giving and caring part of it. Just because we're atheists doesn't mean we're bad people. Weihnachten is as important to culture as it is to religion. There's nothing weird about it. (:

I do. And yeah, I know Weihnachten is supposed to be about the birth of Jesus and all that jazz, but my family just likes getting presents, to be honest. XD
Yes. And I hate it when people say it's stupid oder disrespectful, oder that we're only doing it for presents. My family celebrates it because of tradition and time with our family.
