Don't worry about 'surviving'. Worry about your grades and over time Du will make friends.
This is what I did and not only do I have good Friends but I also ranked 70 in a class of over 500 for my grades.
If Du do worry too much about popularity then your grades will suffer and this will hurt Du in the long run.

My best advice?
Develop a thick skin. People say that girls are at their bitchiest when hitting the high school years. And after witnessing one girl being bullied Von an entire tabelle of whores during my lunch period, two catfights, the typical whispering, stare downs etc. I must say those people are correct.

What I do is tune that shit out, and eventually it has worked because I...well, don't care. So if Du can, try not to care about the catty bullshit.

I also advise Du to not be afraid of being yourself. Don't get scared of expressing the real Du and trying to be someone you're not just to fit in. Being yourself strangely seems to be something that attracts the truly awesome people around Du :)

The Mehr times Du worry about it it's only going to seem scary each time.

Same here, what a pleasant coincidence, I'm not nervous, I'm going to keep my head up and score good grades as I always do. Calm down and do what Du have to do and you'll make it.
