No they haven't. They haven't seen every single person either, but every person is unique because there's no other them.

Good question, but my guess is they've looked at enough of them that aren't the same to be able to reasonably make the assumption that they are all different.

It's probably a reasonable hypothesis from the number of snowflakes they have observed.

Actually, not every snowflake is unique. It's just very rare for two to be the same.

Why? If I remember correctly (and I might not be right), the pattern a snowflake freezes into is dependent on the height at which it freezes, and also things like the wind, water molecules etc.

It's like when they count bunnies! They look at enough to guess. They count the bunnies in just a certain amount of land. Then they look at the fraction. Except in snowflakes they just look at a few. No fractions.

Indeed.
People label them as 'the know it alls' and they buy whatever they say.
Nice to be able to manipulate a person's way of thinking....or manipulate them to not think at all.
