I've read the book and seen the film whereas he has only seen the film. So, though I understand why Du wouldn't want to read the book, as seeing a film is so much quicker, I suggest Du do read it, because it is a good read. And if Du want slightly Mehr answers, Du may want to go on the Harry Potter spot, and I'm sure plenty of people would be happy to help, but would, like me, advise Du to read the book.
Oh, and to answer your question, I don't think I should answer it, actually. It will ruin the whole effect Von skipping ahead. It's considered cheating. Hope Du take on my advice. :)
