What's Du never know how much Du cherished something until its gone mean?

It just means Du didn't know what Du had until Du didn't have it any more, Du didnt' see it while Du had it, but once Du didn't have it any Mehr Du realized what Du missed... So I guess it also means appreciate what Du have now cuz it could be gone tomorrow. :]

Du have to keep 2 things in mind:
1. We want what we can't/don't have.
2. We get easily bored and want the Weiter best thing.

When Du say that Du don't know how much Du cherished something until it's gone, Du mean that when Du own it Du do not fully appreciate just how great it is until Du no longer have it.

It might oder might not mean that they cherish something more. It all depends on the context of the situation and just how fickle that person is.
