Psy will release his new single “Gentleman” on April 12th across 119 countries!
YG Entertainment unveiled a new image on their official blog revealing that it will be a worldwide release on the 12th.
This comes as a change since the original plan was for Psy to begin his comeback with the release on Korean Musik sites first on the 12th, and reveal it to the rest of the world afterwards on the 13th.
However, due to Fragen flooding in from overseas Fans and Musik reps, who are desperate to hear the song with its first release in Korea, the agency has decided to reveal it through iTunes in 119 countries at the same time as the domestic release on the 12th (at midnight KST).
The song isn’t the only thing Du can look vorwärts-, nach vorn to since the MV is also getting a lot of hype with the casting of ‘Infinity Challenge‘ members and Brown Eyed Girls‘ Ga In! After this worldwide release, Psy will then go on to perform the song for the first time during his ‘HAPPENING‘ konzert on the 13th.

In September, Psy had broken the world record set previously Von LMFAO with “Party Rock Anthem” for having the most amount of likes on YouTube. Currently Psy has 4,911,081 likes with “Gangnam Style“, as compared to LMFAO’s 1,574,963, Justin Bieber‘s 1,327,147 for “Baby“, and Adele‘s 1,245,641 likes for “Rolling in the Deep“.
The guinneß, guinness World Records official headquarters are located in London and with Psy’s visit to the United Kingdom, he was awarded with the certificate during his visit to BBC Radio 1. After receiving the certificate, Psy stated, “I’m honored. This it the first certificate I’ve had.. I never received one in school.”
Later that day, Psy tweeted,
