I ran as I cursed under my breath and tried not to slip on the snow. Damn I thought to myself of all the days for it to actually snow in California. I allowed a glance behind me and sagte to myself “Damn it their still trying to catch me and of course I had to be in the mansion part of Encino where every place had a gate blocking all options of where to hide. I must have been running fast because when I slipped I must of slid 50ft sliding right into something had of should I say someone hard because I heard a thump which could only be the sound of me knocking the person off their feet. I jumped to my feet not even looking at who I’d knocked over and sagte “Move out of my way.” “Is that what Du say when Du knock someone down Kayla?” “What?” I looked down wondering how in the hell does this guy know my name and then I came to his serious but sly expression. “Prince” I sagte dropping down to hug him. “Hey.” I look and see that the cops are almost here and I say “Um... Prince can Du loan me your hat and pretend I’m your sister.” He looks down the straße and says “Kayla what kind of trouble have Du got into now?” “Probably less then Du have Prince in the last 3 months sense I saw you.” “Yea you’re probably right but your going to have to tell me.” “Fine later.” “Ok then here” he says taking off his navy blue hat and pulling it on me. The cops run right Von us and he says “So what’d Du do.” “I kind of kicked a water bottle and it hit a cop in the face and then I sort of got scared and threw a burrito at him but it hit another cop.” “Really Kayla?” “Yep.” “Fine come on we can go to my house they won’t Suchen for Du there.” “Ok Princey.” “I thought I told Du never to call me that.” “Whatever Princely Prince” I say patting his cheek. He shakes his head and leads me towards his house and past the gate. I walk inside and am immediately mobbed. “Kayla” Blanket yells jumping for my shoulders. I hug him then playfully noogie him. Paris runs up and says “Kayla your back are Du sleeping over?” “Yea my mom and dad are still in Colorado I decided to come back I just have to stay here oder stay Home alone.” “Well of course Du should stay here with us.” “Yea” Jaafar says smiling smugly in the corner. A chill runs down my spine me and Jaafar dated but he went a little too fast when it came to relationships. “Come on Kayla lets go to my room” Paris says tugging on my arm. “Paris no she was my friend first she’s playing video games with me.” I bite my lip I know if I go with Paris it’s all about girly things which I hate and that if I go with Prince I get to play video games which I Liebe but I know if I go with the other the other one will be angry with me. But all of the sudden Prince jerks me out of Paris’s grasp. “Fine” she yells go ahead and play with your crush. Prince turns a scarlet red and Blanket start laugh uncontrollably. Jaafar glares at Prince as I turn to him. “She’s lying” he says. “Oh yea” she says pulling out a journal “then why are there a bunch of drawings of her here and her name Weiter to yours” she says flipping through the pages. I blush this time and turn to Prince and say “I think we need to talk.” He bites his lip but says “Yea I think we do.”
