Alison: gets force impregnated, is a sociopath who bullies people and commits several crimes and other atrocities in the interest of self-preservation and leaves nothing but chaos and misery in her wake.
Spencer: gets shot, kidnapped and held for months while someone replaces her + dollhouse. Goes mad thinking her lover's dead. Gets put in asylum.
Hanna: Dollhouse + gets abducted and tortured a second time, is literally branded like livestock AFTER Alison's bullying causes her to develop an eating disorder because of Alison calling her a cow and stuff. Loses her boyfriend for a whole season for the sake of a crappy spin-off show that no one watched not to mention her insecurities are constantly being referenced in-universe, causing her self esteem to plummet.
Emily: after finally getting back together with her soulmate is forced into a loveless relationship with her abuser instead for fanservice because of the rape babies that are clearly not even hers (you don't need to be a geneticist to figure that one out), endures dollhouse, dead girlfriends, gets kidnapped by dead girlfriend's ex who also kidnaps her current girlfriend, holds her at knife-point and intends to murder her in cold blood in front of Emily as revenge, has to fight him in self defence and accidentally becomes a killer, bonds with star crossed lover only for them to be torn apart time and time again and becomes so jaded by the end of the show's run that she barely resembles the wide-eyed and bushy tailed toddler she was in the beginning, after all the years of trauma, loss and abuse she endured because of Alison.
And Aria is there too.
