What did Du think of the additional scenes of President Snow in the rose garden that weren't in the books?

I thought it was cool that Gary Ross wrote those additional scenes for President Snow because Du kinda got a taste of what's going on in the President of Panem's head a bit. And I also thought it was cool that Suzanne Collins approved of these scenes because I think it gave the audience the chance to see how in President Snow's mind the rebellion began.
