um really liked a film (well heres about three films now of it ) called the count of monti cristo. The main guy drifts onto the beach and some pirates name him Ztara, its latin or something for driftwoord. Just liked how it sounded and none else ever uses it as an itnternet name so, there you go.

I used to be really into pagan stuff, so when I was like 14 I chose the name 'Lunaste' as an alternate name for myself.
It is the Latin word for moon, 'luna', the latin word for star, 'aster' and the name of a near eastern goddess of love, 'Astarte', all mashed together.

I'm completely atheistic by now, so the name doesn't really have a special meaning anymore, but I still like the sound of the name, it's easy to remember and it's a unique nickname. I use it almost everywhere (so if you ever see a Lunaste on another community, it's probably me :D)
