I speak English, French and Arabic all the time... And I just started learning Spanish :)

Well I speak English and I've taken six years of Spanish, so I think I can speak it fairly well. I'd say about 1.5 though, really.

I speak danish, english, german and then I can understand norweigan and swedish, because it's almost just like danish, so it's really easy to talk with people from sweden and norway.

I speak English. I've been learning French for three years but I'm not fluent.

English & Vietnamese. English is my main language. However, when I was in VN for two months in the summer of 96, I immersed myself enough in Vietnamese that I started dreaming in Vietnamese. You know you're becoming fluent in another language when you start dreaming in that language.

In theory, I could conduct a simple conversation with a stranger in French. But in practice, I am too afraid that they will ask me something I don't know the answer to.

I can also translate a fair bit of Latin but it's not spoken, which is one of the reasons why I enjoy learning it. People say I'm crazy, but come on. All the advantages of learning a language, but you never have to try to talk to real people in it? Sounds good to me!

i can speak spanish if i think about it (8 years learning at school i should know a bit, lol). I should also be able to speak Japanese but you know...i liked to find ways to connect everything to Godzilla instead.

French, English and Cantonese. I've also studied Spanish for about 5 years but I'm not good enough to talk fluently.

About one and a half - I speak english fluently and I'm learning french but I'm not fluent yet.

American and Svenska. My Svenska is not perfect, but I can make my wants and needs understood fairly well... although I could not begin to hold a technical conversation yet.

I also know more than a few words of Mexican (No, it is not Spanish, any more than American is English), enough to get by down there... and a little less in French.

Urdu, first language and English. When i was a kid i hate English so much and never thought that i would be able to speak English ever in my life :)
