Fotografie Taking pictures in low light conditions.

I would like to hear your recommendations for photography in low light indoors. ISO, aperture, shutter speed etc.

It's sometimes hard to take good pictures in low light conditions but when i turn up the ISO the lighting gets better but at the cost of picture quality (more noise). I sometimes use photoshop to reduce the amount of noise, but sometimes it can mess up the quality just doesn't satisfy me. So i would like to hear your tips..what settings do you use and something like that.
