that might be true, but you want your actors happy and if there's an ugly break up people will sense it on screen. I think brucas might not be what they have chosen to end oth with, but without their break up it wouldn't have been tossed out as being meaningless sex as it is now.

ppl! listen to mark schwahn's interview in season 1. He's always planned for leyton to end up together. Mark had written the script for s4e9 in season ONE. he had it planned since the beginning.

oh and i agree with the fact that it didn't matter if sophia and chad where or where not together..a good actor keeps his personal life out of his acting..leyton was planned i think from day one..its like a story which you have in your head and you know from the beginning the ending and the plot just follows!

Well, considering that Brucas started because they were together in real life and fans overwhelmingly wanted to see that, I would say there's probably a good chance.

i really don't think so...chad and sophia both seem to be professional people, i honestly think brucas ended because the writers wanted it to...and if anything Brucas didn't end too soon it went on LONGER than necessary.

i defo think that it would have ended anyway but how quick it ended must have had something to do with the divorce!

The divorce had nothing to do with BL! CS were divorce in S3, yet the writers still put BL together! CS can't do anything about it if they had a problem with eachother! Like Angelika said they keep their personal life to them selves! I have a interview where mark has explained that the CS had nothinhg to do with BL! If only i can remember where i saw that interveiw..lol



Oh and nedmcgee BL didn't end quickly, they were together most of S3 just like LP in S4.

I think the writers knew from the very beginning that they wanted Leyton. Anyways, Chad and Sophia are actors, they know that they have to put their personal feelings aside for their work. If the writers had wanted them together, then they would be together on the show.

it's totally been all about Leyton from the beginning, as abs07 metioned - Mark's said so himself.

I love Brucas but the whole breakup between Chad and Sophia did affect how i feel about them b'n 2gether on the show. I still want them 2gether but it is a lil weird cause of knowing what happened w/them n real life. I guess it affected the writers 2 some degree 2 but its hard 2 say whether that caused them 2 change their story plains or not.
