I loved Brucas when they were together, but it's definitely over between them. They've both moved on and I don't think they will go down that route again. They are friends now and it's nice that they are there for each other, I loved it when Brooke and Lucas spend time together in New York. But Peyton is Lucas' soulmate and he's in love with her. He finally realized that she's the one. I don't think he and Lindsey will end up getting married. Either he will realize it's a mistake, or Lindsey will realize that Lucas is still in love with Peyton, and be the bigger man (or woman) and tell Lucas to be with her.

I think Payton is over reacting with this whole Lindsy thing. She stole Lucas from Brooke when they were still together and she expected Brooke to move on, so why is it ok for her to take lucas from brooke but not ok for lindsay to take him from Payton...at least they weren't still dating

They had a slip up at the motel. Peyton walked away again. Lucas then pursued her. They both screwed up royally. Then LUCAS made the choice to leave Brooke, b/c he wanted to be with Peyton. She didn't handcuff him and hold him against his will. He chose to leave Brooke.

I love brucas too, but soulmates? If you watch season 4 & 5 it is kind of self explanitory...Peyton...

yeh but thats only season 4 and 5.
brucas have been season 1, 2, 3 and a bit of season 5.
so they are soulmates. and plus brooke has never been inlove before except for when she's with lucas.
and peyton is inlove with jake!!!!! not just lucas!

no Peyton WAS in love with Jake! the same goes with Brooke and Lucas they WERE in love with eachother! meaning they are not in love now! it is not Brooke who is hurting to see Lucas with Lindsey is Peyton who is hurt!
and if you are counting the bit that Brucas was "together" in season 5 then i dont know what have you been watching! the whole season 5 is about Lundsey and Leyton!

FYI funkylicousgal Brucas weren't in love in season 1 b/c lucas loved peyton and in season two it was basically all about felix and brooke and brucas was at the very END and in season 3 he still ended up with peyton didn't he!!! Get your facts straight

Don't even try to use s1 as an example for brucas being soulmates, lol. Luke settled for brooke but pined after peyton, and constantly saved her in between.

Leyton drifted a bit in s2, but luke still tried to be there for her as much as he could (even when he was pining after brooke).

when brucas finally "really" got together in s3 & were in love, it wasn't for long and luke was still hanging out with peyton a lot more than he did brooke. In fact, leyton was closer than ever (even though they were just friends). Brooke knew it and was constantly insecure about her relationship with luke cause of it. Heck, the very morning after brucas officially reunited, luke left town with peyton just to give her moral support while she was on her way to see her mother. Peyton didn't even need to tell luke why she needed him. She called him that morning and he was out the door, no questions asked...Brooke needed him too that day (fashion craze) and even asked him if he was on his way back. Luke chose to be with Peyton.

S4 speaks for itself. Leyton was inseparable. There was no jealousy, no insecurity (like brucas had every time they were together), no grand speeches or gestures needed by luke to make peyton feel more secure about their relationship (like brucas needed). Leyton trusted eachother and their relationship, their bond was unmistakably strong.

and season 5? brucas never had anything in s5. luke got drunk and desperate. he would have kissed anyone...seconds after brooke snapped luke out of it [when he kissed her], he was pining about peyton again. Currently, luke's very much in love with lindsey and they're now engaged, and yet he still pines after peyton (keeps her photos, wrote a bloody book about her, and she inspired him to write another).

Being soulmates doesn't require you to be together, and it certainly isn't measured by how many times you were together as a couple...it's a connection & a love that won't fleet away like a fart in the wind. Brucas fizzled out both times they were together (s1 - luke never loved brooke, s3 - brooke stopped loving lucas, s4 - luke stopped loving brooke too). Their love never went deep enough. Leyton was always separated by circumstances & bad timing, but they never stopped loving eachother. They're linked. That's never gonna change. You don't need to be a leyton fan to realize it.
