my hate for them peaked this season, peyton was such a terrible friend
i never really got over it or understood how brooke could forgive her. i still don't like the breyton friendship just because brooke is such a good friend and peyton, well..isnt

Yep, their friendship definitely hit rock bottom in season 4. I mean I'm glad they were friends again towards the end of the season but it just didn't make any sense! A psycho stalker and they're best friends again?! Really? / =

What Breyton?? AWFUL.

But I don't think it was because of Peyton, as ladybug70981 said. If anything, I think it was because of Brooke. But we won't get into that! lol

I din´t hate them but they were pretty bad.

I don't think it was Peyton's fault(as ladybug says)or Brooke's fault(as kellyerin says) i just think it was both's fault because Peyton cheated (kinda) and well yes ,Brooke in the same time didn't listen to her and as at some point Peyton says(after Ian's attack)they both said a lot of things and did a lot of things.Anyways yes Bretyon was horrific.

In general their friendship was terrible in season 4. They both were pretty horrible to each other (and the scene when they fight in front of Peyton's house was pretty dumb in my opinion- especially since they made points that made no sense and were completely illogical). But actually one of my favorite Breyton scenes was at the end of season 4.

After the state championship game when Lucas and Haley are in the hospital and Peyton tells Haley to take care of Brooke and Brooke tells Lucas to take care of Peyton... is a great scene. I love how much they care about one another but are too scared to tell each other. It's easy to be a caring friend when the person you care for knows what you're doing... but when you are a great friend and the other person doesn't even know what you're doing... it shows how much you really care.

I also love when Brooke curls Peyton's hair before the Honey Grove prom and puts her hand on Peyton's face and tells her she looks beautiful. It's such a sweet scene. Or when Brooke tells Peyton she can move in with her in the apartment.

They aren't the most exciting scenes... but they are sweet and mellow and actually seem genuine.

I'll never like their friendship because of Peyton, she's a terrible friend. Not saying that Brooke was always right but most of the times she was and her mistakes are N-O-T-H-I-N-G compared to Peytons mistakes.
