Also their "relationship" was bulit on Brooke trying to seduce Lucas when he clearly was into her best friend (so i'm glad Leyton cheated,lmao)

I don't like Leyton either, but I realized from the pilot that they were meant to be. Brooke is my favorite character of all time. I love her, and I don't want her in a relationship where she is the second choice to Peyton. Lucas has always loved Peyton, he always will. Even if sometimes he said that he wanted Brooke more. Leyton is just meant to be. That's the way it is.

totally agree with SeventeenQueen! from the very beginning i saw that brucas was just a terrible match... and leyton was a perfect match :)

where do i even start?? like everyone else has said... i pretty much had my mind made up about Brucas from the beginning. it doesn't take me long to decide whether or not i want a couple to be together. for one thing, i had already starting LOVING Leyton before Brooke even entered the picture... or the show for that matter. so the fact that i was rooting for Leyton to get together and Brooke came in and practically started forcing herself on Lucas SO desperately really just made me hate them together.

with Leyton, there was that MUTUAL want to be together from the beginning. with Brucas, Brooke wanted (to sleep with) Lucas... but he was clearly not interested... and was all about Peyton... and Brooke knew that. its like Brooke just wanted to conquer him or something just because she wasn't use to not being able to have any guy she wanted. but even if it hadn't been for me rooting for Leyton, i still wouldn't have liked them. Brookes intentions for wanting to get to know Lucas were all shallow and wrong, and just sickening really.

so then... somehow... they eventually became a couple (not even really quite sure how, considering that Brooke couldn't even connect with Lucas without Peyton's help, which was just pathetic)... and for one MILLISECOND i thought to myself... "okay, now that they are a couple and both want to be together, maybe i'll change my mind about them". however... my dislike for them only grew the longer that they were together. the longer they stayed a couple the more we saw how unstable and insecure their relationship was and how wrong they were for eachother.

i'm not going to go through and list every single occasion where Brooke was insecure, and how Lucas wasn't capable or willing to SHOW Brooke that he loved her... because we all know what their history is. but the bottom line is that i have LOVED Leyton since day 1, and Brucas is just the complete opposite of them, so ofcourse i dont like them

Leyton is SECURE, stable, built on a friendship, faithful, honest, not afraid or ashamed to be their TRUE selves around eachother, eachothers #1 person that they want to be with, love that nothing or no one can come between...

and Brucas is not.

It's this one and the other LP is meant to be. But I just can't stand this fucking hooker, anything she's involved in makes me want to vomit. I just HATE her with a fire of a thousand suns.

i dont not like brucas. but i dont like them either.
they were bearable in their time but LP were supposed to be together. i didnt see the big interest in the relationship when luke cheated on her, she was completely insecure with him and peyton(which i dont blame her for). they had some sweet moments. but it was clear to me they were never going to or supposed to last.

In my eyes Brucas has always been the 'fun & sex couple'. That's all their relationship was in S1. Lucas could never be himself around her and had to be something he's not (drink beer, having a tattoo) etc.. Brooke can only connect to Lucas through sex, other than that she had to go to Peyton to help her out.

In S3, the whole non-exclusive thing was crap IMO. And I didn't like their relationship. The thing which irritates me the most are Brooke insecurities and the constant need of reassurance about her feelings. There was not trust & almost no communication. I always seen Brooke as #2 best, and never a priority to Lucas. After the school shooting, he opened up to Peyton & never let Brooke in his heart. In my eyes, Brucas has a very superficial relationship. I never see them talk about anything important.

I love Brooke, especially in the Breyton friendship but I don't really like her in a relationship. The only one I really liked with her is Chase.
