Brooke was a lot different before she fell in love with Lucas.I don't really think he changed Nathan that was Haley who changed him.

No one changed Peyton, her personality was always very similar to Lucas´. The problem is that Nathan and Brooke were bad influences on her (when I say Brooke I just mean that she was very superficial), but then they changed and Peyton became a happier, less bitter person.

I really don't know what to choose here. For Brooke I'm not enitrely certain that Lucas is what changed her in the first place. I see Brooke's major changes taking place in like season 2 and then in between like 4 and 5 and she wasn't with him at either of those times. I think he was more like a catalyst for that first change and then she just kept growing idk. With Nathan I definitely don't think that him changing had to do with Luke. It was more about Haley. And then rosangie I don't agree with Brooke and Nathan changing being the reason Peyton changed. I really do think that that was Luke. I feel like after her mother died she closed off her heart and that made her bitter and angry and you know beginning of season one Peyton. But Luke opened her heart and made her more willing to give it to someone whether that was him or Jake or even making her closer to Brooke. Idk if that was bigger than Brooke's transformation though so eh Idk.

sugassweet, I never said Peyton changed. But because Haley changed Nathan for a better person, Peyton had no longer to take his crap. Even when they break up the last time you can see Nathan showing some sympathy for Peyton. It´s like for the first time he realizes that he and Peyton deserve much better and that the two of them as couple just doesn´t work.

I do agree with you when you talk about Lucas and Peyton. But I still don´t think Lucas changed Peyton. Sure she fell in love with him, and therefore she opens her heart to him but that´s natural. She got a sweeter attititude, especially towards Lucas. It doesn´t necessarily mean that something in her changed, like the way she thinks or sees things. That never changed.

As for Brooke, not only she fell in love with Lucas, but she also changed a LOT. Lucas made her see how special she was. She stopped being so superficial and she was suddenly more caring and nicer to everyone (Mouth, for instance). Lucas thought her to believe in herself and in what she could achieve. In a way he was very inspirational to Brooke.

Lucas had a role in Nathan's changing behavoir because Nathan would have never met Haley if Lucas hadn't joined the Ravens, Nathan said so himself, his words "If you've had just stayed in your place at the rivercourt I would have never met Haley, you ruined my life man, you better watch your back"-Nathan Scott


Second, Lucas did change Brooke somewhat....he showed her how to care for someone and he showed her how to love, they both gave a rat's ass about eachother.

Yeah I guess were going to have to agree to disagree rosangie. But I really do think Peyton changed like alot. Comparing the season 4 or 6 Peyton to like beginning of season 1 there's HUGE difference. Especially when it comes to letting people in. The way she was with Mick? Totally more open and accepting than she was at first with Ellie and he was the reason she got to the point where she could trust Ellie in the first place. And then with Derek? Luke had a huge role in making her more open and accepting to new things and people and gave her a lot of faith in herself (You're Art Matters).

Lucas changed Brooke the most! Sure, he changed Nathan a bit too but mostly it was Haley that changed Nathan.

I'm not a huge fan of the whole "he/she changed him/her" thing. People may have a good influence, but in the end you change because you want to.

But Lucas had very influence in Brooke, Nathan and Peyton's life. Mostly in Brooke's life, because of the reasons that Rosangie said. I do thing that he afected Peyton's life too, even tho it wasn't as much as Brooke and Nathan.

Lucas didn't change Nathan. Haley did. Brooke has changed a lot since the first season. And Lucas had a big part in that change. ;-)

i think that of everyone is brookes life, lucas has made the greatest impact on her. he really did bring out the good in her just like haley brought out the good in nathan. i dnt thnk peyton really was changed by lucas, they were both very similar, and peyton has gone thru tht much drastic character development compared to nate and brooke, but anyways lucas most def influenced brooke the most of all.
