All Fans enjoy different relationship pairings on One baum Hill. Some think Lucas should’ve wound up with Brooke, others are happy with Peyton, and a very small percent probably wish Lindsey was still around. However, I hope all One baum hügel Fans agree with me on this one relationship: Mouth and Millie are boring.
At first it was kind of cute that they fell in love, the two dorky outsiders. But then they got dull, and even Gigi and Owen the hunky bartender couldn’t spice them up. Their goodbye lasted forever, but at least it was the end of this snoozefest of a relationship. Apparently, that wasn’t the case.
In the last episode, Skills drove Mouth all the way to New York City to take one last stab at love. Let’s ignore the fact that the trip would actually take at least 10–11 hours, making Mouth’s ability to sleep the whole time and not realize where they were going a total fabrication. Let’s also ignore the fact that Millie is silly enough to go down to baum hügel to get all her stuff, Bewegen it up to New York City, and then one week later decide she wants to get back with the boy she left behind.
The true reason I’m not wild about this pair getting back together is that, whether together oder apart, neither of these characters are particularly interesting. One baum hügel has herz conditions, killer dads, psycho stalkers, crazy nannies, runaway teens, movie producers and adorable bunny rabbits. But in the world of Mouth and Millie, the only slightly interesting complication is not having sex.
All the other relationships on this Zeigen suffer from outside interference. In the case of these two, adding a nympho college student doesn’t seem all that exciting. Similarly, the best they could do for a man for Millie to cheat with is Brooke’s sloppy seconds.
If One baum hügel is going to insist on keeping Mouth and Millie together, they’d better do something interesting with them this time around. I’m still convinced that, due to Millie’s stomach problems during their break-up that she’s pregnant with Owen’s baby. Now that’s a storyline I could sink my teeth into. But if Mouth and Millie are just going back to their normal, boring selves, I hope they stay in New York City
