incase u didnt know vivi is also their nakama ........remember they put x mark on their hands delaring they r nakama for ever........ so @Soraji9 if u cant imagine Luffy with his nakama then vivi is out of the picture as well........

Yeah I know they said Vivi would still be their nakama, but it's more of an honorific thing than anything else. She is not traveling with them and is not recognized as part of the Straw Hat crew by others characters or fans. So I don't view her as "real" nakama.
That being said, I don't really ship Luffy with either of them so I chose her by default.

I feel Luffy needs someone more like Nami, who can slap him around when he is being an idiot, but who also respect and trusts him.
