"He was my friend,He was the father I never had."My lips trembled as I spoke."I looked up to him,not for the mistakes he made but what he did to correct them."I stood before family and friends,next to the casket of an old friend.One Von one tears fell from my eyes as I spoke my words of rememberance.

4 days before..

I woke up to see the face of my beautiful wife,Anna.My life was perfect,There were a few glitches but perfect isn't always perfect.I leaned over and kissed her on the cheek.Instantly she smiled,and told me something sweet.Then she asked me,"Did Du know I Liebe you?"
"Why yes,Dear why wouldn't you."I bragged.
My head kind of hurt,I was hungover,We had went out the night before.Ronnie told me to spend some time with her,So we went out to eat.I thought something was fishy through,Like she would sneak out,and of course I was right.
"Do Du know the reasons?I Liebe how Du Liebe to flatter yourself.I think it's funny."
"I'd think it would be real funny,If Du went down stairs and made some pancakes."
She smiled and said,
"I'll make Du eggs and bacon."she got up out of the bed.
"Don't forget.."
"You like the microwave bacon."she put on her robe, gewand and walked out.
"I Liebe how you..."once again I was interrupted Von a sweet smile.
"How I know Du Liebe me because I know you."she giggled,Kissed me then left to go downstairs.
I sat there,with my wonders and thoughts,of my simple happy life.My little dream was interrupted with a yell.
"Zayn!!Call 911."I heard Anna.
I ran downstairs.
"What's wrong??"I panicked.
Tom was laying on the küche floor motionless.I bent down to check his pulse.There was no beat.I hurry to call 911.

The krankenwagen arrived and they shocked him.They some how got his pulse going,even through it was weak.He had been staying in our house for a few days.But now,I sat with Anna,on the stairs,and for a change,she held me.I was the one scared,this time,I was the one with tears and fears.He was my friend,and a good one too,I didn't want to lose him.He showed me over a life time of mistakes,If Du just make one good decision,others will judge Du Von that decision.

We went to the hospital.
A miracle and a nightmare occurred there.He laid in his hospital bed,barely breathing,only living because the tubes up his nose.He was unable to talk,We gave him a sheet of paper and pencil.We stood over him,Waiting for him to right.He held the pencil in his trembling hand,weakly Against the paper.He looked as if he couldn't decide what to write.
I had called Courtney,I didn't tell her who was in the hospital through.It just didn't occur to me to tell her.He then wrote something.
"She wont care if I die."He wrote in messy handwriting.
I looked at him.
"I would."I whispered.
"Why?"he wrote.
"You've taught me so much,How to be a better husband."
"I did not,You taught yourself.And to be a better man,then Du already are use the book."he wrote.
I suddenly remembered the book,he gave to me.I had forgotten all about it.I didnt argue with his words of wisdom.
"What?"Anna asked.
I didn't reply.
My phone rang,it was Courtney.
