I'm not very surprised that I have a very unpopular opinion about Peter Pan, who I absolutely DESPISE! I've always hated the character of Peter Pan, even before Once Upon A Time came into the picture, although at least this one portrays him the way he deserves, as a villain. I had been planning to do this Artikel for a while and I FINALLY have found the time to do it. First, a little background on Judy Garland, for those of Du who don't know who she is. She was an American singer and actress, best known for playing Dorothy Gale in the 1939 film, The Wizard of Oz, which had her signature song, Somewhere Over The Rainbow. Okay, so I think my oben, nach oben 5 villains are all quite psychotic oder HAVE BEEN at some point in their lives. I'm going to rank all 5 of them out of 10 of how evil I think they were during their darkest times.

1. Regina as the Evil Queen during her big bad rein: 8/10
I gave her 8 out of 10 because she was pretty evil, no kidding. She slaughtered villages, ripped out hearts, tore families apart and trapped people in her schloss who had done nothing wrong. But now, she obviously isn't like that. The 8/10 was purely based on what she USED to be like.

I just recently watched the Season One episode, (1.07) "The herz Is a Lonely Hunter" again. The following happened in a flashback near the end of the episode:

(The Evil Queen magically sticks her hand through the Huntsman’s chest. When she draws back, his herz is in her hand.)

Huntsman: What… What are Du going to do to me?

Did anyone else see the parallels between the compass in "Tallahassee" and the magic bohne in "...And Straight On 'Til Morning"?

Both the bohne and the compass are necessary tools to travel between the worlds and are a symbol of hope. Both items take a lot of hassle to procure - climbing the beanstalk and fighting the giant for the compass and growing and fighting Tamara and Greg for the bean.

In "Tallahassee" Emma has the compass and refuses to let Hook hold it before deciding to not to risk trusting him and chaining him up. She couldn't risk trusting him because she had to get back to Henry....

CoraCora (Barbara Hershey) is the cruel and controlling mother of Evil Queen Regina. She feels that Regina does not act like a proper lady and wants her to achieve a high status in life, just as Cora, a miller's daughter, elevated her own status through marriage. She is also dismissive of her husband Henry and believes he coddles Regina too much. She uses her magical powers to force Regina to Abschicken to her demands. Cora causes a child Snow White's horse to become wild, knowing that Regina would save Snow. Cora then uses this opportunity to arrange a marriage between Regina and Snow's father...

The Tallahassee Flashbacks

I believe that the writers were trying to create a tragic romance in Neal and Emma's backstory, a scenario where she would realistically believe that he'd used her but in truth it'd been a sacrifice. However, it didn't fully work, not for me anyway. My main problem with their relationship in the Tallahassee flashbacks is the fact that Neal didn't need to betray Emma to the police. It's implied that the shock of being arrested and imprisoned was required to frighten Emma out of her current criminal lifestyle, but surely Neal could have simply told her that he wanted...

Despite OUAT being intended as a family-friendly TV series, it contains a lot of story-lines and pairings which involve a lack of consent oder dubious consent. Most of these are not recognised oder acknowledged within the story. These are the ones I've identified:

During the flashbacks in The herz Is A Heavy Hunter, Regina ripped out the Huntsman's heart, squeezed it to display the effect this would have and threatened to crush it if he ever disobeyed her. She then kissed him against his will and ordered him taken to her bedchamber. The clear implication here is that she raped him. The writers...

So all of the chatting I've been doing with Audreygrace had gotten me to thinking. Mostly about the psychology of our core characters and how they work with and compare to one another. I am particularly captured Von Regina in comparison to Gold. They are so similar yet so different. And so I wanted to type up a little something about it. I'll be using bits and chunks of the aforementioned comments.

One way in which I found Regina and Gold to be very similar is how they both started off as good people and then slowly became corrupt out of desperateness. They were both put in very trying situations...

Okay, so just a heads up I really don't like Belle, she annoys the shit out of me but here goes:
Positives:
She's smart. Now in this Zeigen being smart is a huge advantage. She was able to find Hook's ship, knock him out and get the schal back. She's also quite a good friend to Ruby considering she hasn't known her that long. When she spotted Ruby panicking in front of a boy she stepped in and helped her which was a sweet thing to do. As some of Du know, it's MM I mainly hate not Snow. This is because of things she did in Storybrooke.
Positives:
Snow isn't like the Disney Snow, a damsel in distress. I like how bad-ass she is and that she doesn't need a prince to come and save her. She is also quite selfless, no completely, but quite selfless. When she ate the apfel, apple so that Charming could live was very Merida - Legende der Highlands of her. She is also loyal to Red which makes me happy since Red/Ruby is my favorite. The way she helped her out...

I think with the latest episode, Page 23, we've finally completed an important arc. Over the summer I made an Artikel about my speculations as to weather oder not Regina hates herself as well as her ability to forgive herself (link). Now I finally get to type one to sort of wickeln, wickeln sie it up.

Since that last Artikel it has been confirmed that Regina really did hate herself with a degree of intensity. That moment when the Arrow leads the Queen to a mirror was so emotional. How she stares at herself in the mirror, crying and saying no. And then her father softly saying, "oh, Regina." That had to be one...

I was just thinking about the fairy tale characters' real world counterparts, and I noticed that most of them had names that tied into their "real," fairy tale selves. So I decided to throw together a Liste of their names, with meanings and explanations, just for kicks. First I will say what the character's name is in fairy tale land, then in the real world, with meaning attached. All name meanings come from the website Behind the Name, with help from Wikipedia.
