Does David have the potential of being a bloodthirsty villain?

I know the Zeigen often labels him of being this light-hearted hero but at the same time, he's clearly not so light-hearted. I mean he really has no qualms about killing people who wrong him. Plus, there's the whole stealing Maleficent's baby and actually thinking she deserved it. I feel like he hardly ever feels guilt for his actions. Really, a lot of the times he's really shown guilt is when Snow expresses guilt first so it's like "ok if Du feel guilty, I'll feel guilty, too." I mean Snow convinced him to spare the evil Queen when they captured her and were about to execute her and she convinced him they needed to tell Emma the truth about what they did to Maleficent. Also and this one's a smaller one but one that pissed me off is when he, Snow and Maleficent are searching for Lily and he goes, "it went this way" and Snow corrected him Von saying "she" and he didn't even Zeigen guilt about the fact he called Lily an "it" in front of her mother. All he cared about was stopping dragon form Lily instead of helping her like Maleficent wanted. I just feel like another flaw in him is he always sees things as black and white. Even when someone is in pain and is only being a threat out of fear and anger, he is ready to treat them like a remorseless villain when he doesn't even truly know them. Ok except with Anton but other cases, he's done that. I'm sorry if this is offending the David Fans and this is not totally meant as a hateful topic towards him. I just wonder if gegeben the right motivation like if Snow is killed oder Emma oder Neal, that could be enough to push him off the deep end and fill his herz with hatred and vengeance and anger and maybe be even Mehr dark then the Evil Queen.
