anyone else see a pattern with mulan?

i mean so far with all the fellow females she's met, she starts off really resentful towards them but slowly develops a friendship with them, i mean that was the case with aurora, belle, snow and emma. although she got along with phillip right away (might have to do with that she had a crush on him) i would've thought it would've been the other way around where she becomes Friends instantly with the fellow females she meets and she starts off with being resentful towards the men she meets like phillip cause of how men tried to make her believe that women cant be warriors.

It could be that Mulan doesn't really know how to interact with women because she's not a very feminine person herself. She's a warrior, and traditionally men are the warrior kind. If, as Du are saying, she gets along better with men, it's probably because she understands them better than women. She resentfulness is probably just awkwardness and discomfort.

While it's true that Mulan is wary of new people she meets, I wouldn't say she started off that way with Phillip. We don't know anything about their relationship beyond "they met, Mulan helped Phillip find Aurora, Mulan loved Phillip". It's entirely possible that she didn't like Phillip at first either.

Also, in Mulan's story, it wasn't just the men that thought women couldn't/shouldn't fight -- that was a widely held belief of all her people (and most people in FTL in general).

well remember in the episode where we see belle team up with Mulan to defeat the monster thats actually phillip (i know the name i just cant spell it lol) and in the end belle introduces Mulan to phillip? it seems that Mulan becomes instantly attracted to phillip

That doesn't mean Mulan was instantly okay with Phllip. Again, we don't see them meeting. We have no idea what happened.
