Is anybody out there?
It was common knowledge that every young woman had to have a husband to be respected. It was just the way of the world. And no woman ever wanted to be without one, because without a husband, Du didn't only have the risk of ending up as an old maid, but Du also did not get the respect and value Du would get as a wife. Especially as a wife of a rich man.
Of course there were a few exceptions. The girl who did not want a life like that. Rana Lannister was one of those girls.
She was the Sekunde oldest daughter of a family only filled with daughters. There were six sisters in the family: Rachel, Rana, Atie, Rory, Myrcella and Shireen. And all of them were too young to be married. Or, well, the four eldest were just the proper age of marrying, which, of course, drove their mother, Lorelai, crazy. She wanted them married as fast as possible.
Their father, however, was much Mehr indifferent to such things, but unfortunately for the girls, he often found it easier to just agree with their mother than to argue.
"I can't believe she is making such a bloody big thing about this", Rana groaned as she and her two sisters, Atie and Rachel, sat in her bedroom. Rana was sitting Von the window, staring out at the rainy weather. Atie, on the other hand, was on the floor, fiddling with her ribbons. Rachel was Lesen a book, Lost in her own thoughts.
"Maybe we'll get good husbands", Atie said. "You never know."
"Yes, Du do", Rana said. "It doesn't matter to mother if the husbands are good. It matters if they are rich. And who's to say I even want a husband?"
"I would like one", Rachel sagte quietly. "I'd Liebe to... be in love."
"I'm sure Du would", Rana groaned. "But not all of us think that. Atie doesn't think that."
"I don't think that", Atie agreed, biting her lip. "But if it's what our parents want from us..."
"It doesn't matter", Rana sagte in determination as she stood up, marching out of the room. "If she tries to introduce me to some man, I swear I will-"
The rest of her words were cut off when she stormed down the hall.
Atie sighed, turning to look at the eldest sister, Rachel. "Do Du really want a husband?"
"If he is kind and good to me, I don't see why not", Rachel said. "He does not even have to Liebe me. I know this is what I'm supposed to do. Especially because I'm the eldest."
Atie looked at her sadly. "You don't have to do anything."
"I know that", Rachel nodded, giving her sister a smile before standing up. "We ought to go downstairs. I'm sure mother is most eager for us to start getting ready."
There was a new resident in their district, and he happened to be an eligible bachelor Von the name of Robb Stark. And of course he'd brought all of his acquaintances with him, which meant that, in Lorelai's mind, there were plenty of suitors for all of his daughters.
"I don't want to go to the feast", Atie sagte as she followed her sister.
"There will be food", Rachel smiled. "And that is what Du ought to also tell Rana so that she'll be Mehr prone to going."
"You have a point", Atie shrugged, and together they made their way to the living room.

All the Lannister girls were dressed for the abendessen and waiting Von the door. Their father Luke came down and smiled at all his girls, “You all look amazing.” he sagte smiling at his daughters.
“Thank Du father.” Rana sagte with a wide smile. Out of all the daughters she was the one who happened to get along with her father the most. He understood her need for independence. “I’ll be waiting for all of Du in the carriage.” Luke smiled walking towards the carriage.
The girls nodded their heads and stood there waiting for their mother. Soon Lorelai strolled down the stairs and smiled at her daughters. “All of Du look lovely.” she beamed. She then glanced at her three youngest daughters, “Rory, Myrcella, and Shireen go out and wait with your father. I shall be out in a second.” The three youngest daughters nodded their heads and walked out.
“You three.” she sagte pointing at her three eldest daughters, her tone suddenly changing. “Listen up and listen carefully.”
“Oh god.” Rana muttered under her breath rolling her eyes at Atie who laughed.
“The Starks are a good, rich, and well known family. Their son Robb is of marrying age and rumor has it that his family is looking for a bride for him, his brother, and all of his Friends that are coming with him. The three of Du must be on your best behavior and be kind.” she then turned towards Rachel. “You are the eldest so Du must be married first. Robb is your responsibility.”
“Responsibility?” Atie mouthed to Rana in amusement.
Rana pretended to shoot herself with her fingers causing Atie to laugh again.
Lorelai turned to both of them and glared, “I know Du both like to joke and mess around, but do NOT ruin this.” she hissed.
“Yes, Ma’am.” Rana and Atie muttered in annoyance.
“Now, let’s go!” Lorelai demanded.
The girls nodded and were following their mother out when Liam Henstridge, the boy Weiter door, walked up to them. “Hello, ma’am.” Liam smiled at Lorelai.
Lorelai smiled brightly at Liam, “Hello, sweet boy, are Du going to be at the function tonight?”
“Yes of course.” Liam laughed. “My mother and father are getting in the carriage right now. I just came Von to say hello.”
“Good.” Lorelai smiled. She really adored Liam and his entire family. They had lived Weiter door to one another for as long as she could remember and their families had always been very close. “How is your sister’s marriage going?”
“It’s good.” Liam nodded.
“Good, hopefully I can say the same for my daughters soon.” she smirked walking to the carriage.
Liam laughed and walked over to the three sisters, “So mother dearest is excited, huh?”
“Don’t mention it.” Rana muttered.
Rachel laughed, “Rana is sensitive.”
Rana and Rachel walked up ahead while Atie hung back to talk to Liam.
“Why do we even need to look for a husband for Atie when we can literally just walk Weiter door.” Rana teased.
Rachel laughed, “First those two idiots needs to realize that.”

“Hey, you.” Liam smiled at Atie. “Excited?”
Atie laughed, “Not even a little. Hundreds of rich boring men, that I have to flaunt myself to.”
Liam laughed, “Well, as one of your closest Friends I’ll make it my responsibility to deck any man that looks at Du funny.”
“My mother will Liebe that.” Atie laughed. She then groaned, “I don’t want to be paired off with people, I like doing the pairing off. Like I think Allison and Derek will make a perfect pair.” Atie gushed.
Liam rolled his eyes, “Good lord, Atie. Not this again. Stop meddling in people’s lives.”
“I’m not meddling.” Atie sagte glaring at him, “I just think they would be perfect.”
Liam laughed, “I think Allison and Scott might like each other.”
“I don’t think so.” Atie mused.
Liam sighed, “Well, I’m going to go back to my carriage. See Du at the function.”
“Yeah.” Atie smiled. “Bye.”
