Thirteen "Unfaithful"

This was written to be about Thirteen, because even though it's obviously never going to happen I'm still a Thutner shipper, but it really could be about anyone. It's all in the interpretation.

It’s funny how when no one’s touched Du in a really long time, even the smallest amount of contact can leave a mark, how a connection forms even if they only happened to bump against you, how if something happens to sever that connection it can scar Du worse than if someone cut Du open.

First off, I would like to assure everyone that though Thutner is, and will always be, my ship, I’m not here to bash Foreteen shippers, just to share my point of view on current and future events.
    

I was not entirely surprised with the unveiling of the Foreteen spoiler. House sagte to Foreman once, “You need someone just as detached and ambitious as Du are. Du need yourself in a skirt.” This is not far off the mark. Thirteen is as detached as Foreman is, she’s willing to stand up to House like Foreman is, and she’s every bit as ambitious as Foreman is. 'Last Resort' was an intense episode for a number of reasons. There was a lot going on. But as an avid Thirteen fan, I was particularly interested in what she went through in this episode.


Previously, we knew that Thirteen was afraid of her impending death, but we also saw that she was very determined to gain some control over the rest of her life, to the point where she seemed to be Mehr interested in controlling her death rather than the remainder of her life. I had really sympathised with this position. Her disease will cause her to lose control of her body and her mind. Thus, it is understandable...

Just as fair warning, this is my least Favorit oneshot that I've done. I don't think it's incredibly good. Just so Du know.
