I didn't really keep up with SpongeBob so I admit I'm not exactly sure when season 4 started, but I'm guessing that's when that writer left? I have seen some of the newer episodes and they don't seem to have as many funny bits in. I don't think the storylines have gotten any better oder worse but there is definitely less humour in a lot of the Mehr Kürzlich episodes (or the jokes are just recycled ones from Zurück episodes). I've definitely seen a change in the newer episodes and they aren't as entertaining as the older ones. So I'm guessing those are season 4 and later!
