why is there a blume the instead of a moon.

Here guys, I heard that the reasons for the names and covers were:

Twilight
Pic - Edward's hands holding the Obst of temptation aka the forbidden Obst ;)
Name - The beginning of the darkest part of Bella's life (her night)

New Moon
Pic - the tulpe represents Bella and its covered in blood from her broken heart
Name - Bella is in the darkest part of her life (darkest part of moon cycle)

Eclipse
Pic - the ribbon represents Bella's life, and the two strands left connecting the two sides represents choosing between her mortal life and immortality, and the Sekunde strand represents the choice between her friendship with Jake and her Liebe for Edward
Name - the actual darkest part of her life, but coming towards the brightest since the eclipse only lasts a short time

Breaking Dawn
Pic - Bella used to be the red pawn in the background , aka a weak, blood-filled(hence the red colour) mortal, she is now the queen, the most powerful piece on the chess board, (and i think Du guys all know why the Queen is white ;)
Name - Bella is entering the brightest part of her life, the end of her night, her morning, the beginning of her new life with Edward

Oh Du are so right!!!!! i think that the blume turing red is supose to repersent bellas herz bleeding and i think thats why the little pedal falling looks like a drop of blood i could be wrong and i do have a big imagination (as Du can see oder read in this case lol) but what i think they should have done is kept the blume but in the background put a new moon that way Du stay true to the Titel and Du add a little Mehr creativity.

Hey the eason why new moon book cover is a blume is becuz it represent bella bday when she cut herself and when edward threw her back to protect her she landed on her cake and remember alive fill up the room with flowers...so yea dat y..lol

Meyer sagte herself that the blume really has no representation of the book. She didn't get to choose the cover for New Moon.
Besides, new moon means no moon so I don't think it would make sense for there to be a moon anyways.
Edward is representing the 'new moon'.

When Edward flung Bella away she landed in glass and FLOWERS. And I thing the little petal at the end represents Edward leaving.

For New Moon, Stephenie Meyer stated on her website that there is no meaning to the ruffled tulpe (Estella Rijnveld) on the cover. However, there is a Persian legend which says that the first tulips sprang up from the drops of blood shed Von a lover and for a long time the tulip's been a symbol for avowed love. That may also be why on the British cover of New Moon, instead of a petal falling, it's a drop of blood in the shape of a heart. In my opinion, that's what the person who designed the cover was thinking. But it's open to interpretation. I've heard that the blume represents Bella's herz in the way that's it's wilting. Everyone has a different opinion. There's no definitive answer because Stephenie Meyer didn't chose it.

well..even the Autor herself has no reason that she picked the blume instead of moon..same as eclipse..breaking dawn and twilight..all the titles are related to the sun..dont Du think..well i Liebe the cover..it doesnt mean Titel has to relate with the pic right??well..a picture worth a thousand words..^,^

meyer sagte that she didnt av ny choice for the cover and that it means nothin but the rest of the covers have meanings! it was only put dere as a decoration and has no meaning to the book its self! xx
