So for this year's Golden Globes, Schauspielerinnen Michelle Dockery and Laura Carmichael decided to match their fair skin with pale gowns.
Michelle wore a strapless, sequinned Oscar De La Renta prom dress with raised hemline Wird angezeigt off her matching satin heels.
The pair were just two of the ITV period drama's cast to attend the star-studded ceremony at the Beverly Hilton, where Downton is up for Best TV Drama.
The show, which recently finished its fourth series in the UK, is in a tough category, up against Breaking Bad, The Good Wife, House of Cards, Masters of Sex.
Last year, Dame Maggie Smith won Best Performance Von an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series oder Motion Picture Made for Television.
In 2013, the Zeigen was also nominated for Best Performance Von an Actress in a Fernsehen Series - Drama for Dockery and Best TV Drama, but Lost out in those two categories.
In 2012, Downton was named Best Mini-Series oder Motion Picture Made for Television.
While Downton is still making waves at the US award shows, it was controversially snubbed from the big prizes at last years' BAFTA Fernsehen Awards - the only nomination being Best Production Design.
