Jamia aimlessly flipped through the chapters of her chemistry textbook, bored to tears and lonely. She hated being grounded on homecoming night, and she knew Frank was disappointed that she wasn't able to come. He was probably having a nighttime rehearsal in his mom's basement, oder smoking weed at the park near his dad's place. Maybe both, meaning he'd be smoking a joint at band practice. He was so bummed out that she wasn't able to come. She blamed her parents and her history teacher's epic fail of a grading system.
Then she heard soft Musik from her backyard and a tap on her window. She opened the shades to find her Frankie knocking on her window. She immediately opened it to let him in, leaning in to KISS him like Juliet, trapped in her tower, to KISS her beloved Romeo.
"Come down, I have a surprise for you." he told her, motioning her to come with him. Jamia's brown eyes glittered with confusion.
"What?"
"Just trust me, Love" he winked, trying his best to get down from the Sekunde story of Jamia's typically suburban Jersey Home without getting his neck broken. She followed Frank's lead, and when she safely landed on the ground courtesy of Frank helping her down, she couldn't believe what she saw. The trees that lined her back fence had lights delicately laced around them, Frank Sinatra's soulful Liebe songs seemed to play out of nowhere, and she saw that Frankie was wearing a tuxedo. Balloons were inflated and all around the lawn.
"Frankie...oh, my gosh. I don't know what to say." she whispered.
"You don't have to say a word," he raised her arms up around his shoulders, "I wanted to bring the dance to you, because my homecoming, my prom, my everything, is wherever Du are." They began slow dancing, he in his tuxedo and she still in her school uniform. She pressed her pale face against his tuxedo jacket, taking in the scent of the cologne she bought him two Christmases ago, and smiled. This moment, dancing in her backyard with her one true love, was so much better than going down to another Catholic school dance. She felt Frank KISS the oben, nach oben of her head.
"I Liebe you, so much." Jamia whispered as he held her closer to him.
"I Liebe you, too."

"You sure we shouldn't call the cops for trespassing?" Mr. Nestor asked his wife as he peered through the blinds of the kitchen, watching his daughter dance with that Frank boy in their backyard.
"No," Mrs. Nestor smiled before taking a sip of her hot decaf coffee, "Let them have their dance tonight. I think it's kind of sweet he did that for her."
"Bah! Let's see how sweet he is after I saw off his hands for touching our baby girl like he is."
"Don't ruin their moment - let them be in love," she advised, "Remember when we were like that, back when we were young?" Mr. Nestor blushed a bit and grumbled to himself as he shuffled away, not wanting to be a hypocrite. Mrs. Nestor simply smiled to herself, not letting her husband know that she let Frank in their property to make tonight special for her Jamia. She looked through the blinds, and after seeing them look into each other's eyes like the only people on earth, she knew it was well worth keeping to herself.
