Day 17: thoughts on Sebastian/Jonathan Morgenstern
I sort of see them as two separate people. "Sebastian" was psychotic, but a very interesting villain. "Jonathan" is how he was just before he died, who he could have been if he was normal and had a normal childhood. His death made me cry because it was just so emotional ""I've never felt so light," he said softly, and then he smiled and closed his eyes, and died." "And so, as Jocelyn had for so many years, Clary stood at the side of the Mortal mirror and wept for the brother she would never have, and for the boy who had never been given the chance to live."

Maybe, just off the top of my head. May change when I reread it.
Also the Greenhouse scene or Magnus' introduction/Malec first meeting.

Okay, this one is difficult because I read it most recently and remember it pretty well, it's my fave of the series, and so many amazing moments! But okay..
Malec scene when Magnus is willing to give up his life for Alec/the others
Magnus: I’ve lived a long time. So many years, and no, it doesn’t feel like enough. I won’t lie and say it does. I want to live on—partly because of you, Alec. I have never wanted to live so much as I have these past few months, with you.
Alec: We’ll die together. Let me stay at least, with you.
Magnus: You have to go back. You have to go back to the world.
Alec: I don't want the world, I want you.
Magnus: You can’t stay with me. There will be no me; the demon will take my life force, and my body will crumble away. Four hundred years, remember.

But honestly all the Malec, they made me so emotional omg *sobbing*

BOOKS, easily.
The movie was okay, not great. And I watched three episodes of Shadowhunters before I had to give up, the acting was dreadful, I just couldn't get into it.
