Once Discovery Channel announced that they would broadcast a reenactment of Michael Jackson's autopsy, his Fans and his estate were quick to offer their dissenting opinions.
But did it work?

Apparently so!
Co-executors of the MJ estate, John Branca and John McClain, released a statement about Discovery's decision NOT to air their special, Michael Jackson's Autopsy: What Really Killed Michael Jackson, this Monat in Europe.
"The co-executors of the Estate of Michael Jackson are pleased that Discovery Channel made the correct decision in choosing to Abbrechen this exploitative program. We are hopeful that this Zeigen will never run in any market in the future. While Discovery cited legal proceedings and our request as the reasons for its decision, none of this would have happened had it not been for the incredible passion displayed Von countless Michael Jackson Fans worldwide who knew they stood as one and that their voices could not be ignored."
Now the King of Pop can finally rest in peace...hopefully.

The co-executors of Michael Jackson's estate think Discovery Channel did the right thing when they yanked a documentary from their UK schedule that was to feature a reenactment of MJ's autopsy.
A rep for John Branca and John McClain tells TMZ, "The co-executors of the Estate of Michael Jackson are pleased that Discovery Channel made the correct decision in choosing to Abbrechen this exploitative program."
The co-executors went on to say they feel Michael's Fans played a large role in Discovery's decision, saying, "While Discovery cited legal proceedings and our request as the reasons for its decision, none of this would have happened had it not been for the incredible passion displayed Von countless Michael Jackson Fans worldwide who knew they stood as one and that their voices could not be ignored."
As for any future plans to air the show, Branca and McClain said, "We are hopeful that this Zeigen will never run in any market in the future."

Certain items found in the room where Michael Jackson died could help shape Dr. Conrad Murray's defense -- namely, that other docs were medicating Michael.
Sources connected with the case tell TMZ ... evidence in the room suggests certain potent drugs were "prescribed and prepared" for MJ to self-medicate.
As we first reported, Dr. Murray's team will not challenge the L.A. County Coroner's finding that Jackson died of a massive Propofol overdose. But as we told you, Murray's team will present evidence in the doc's manslaughter case that Michael awakened, then gave himself the fatal dose of Propofol when Murray left the room.
We're told Murray's team hasn't decided if it will use the evidence found in the room to implicate other doctors in Jackson's death. But we do know Murray's legal team will present evidence during the trial that the fruits of Jackson's notorious doctor shopping over two decades wore his body down.
The rep for Dr. Murray's lawyer refused comment.

All alone wishing on stars
Waiting for Du to find me
One sweet night I knew I would see
A stranger who'd be my friend
When someone in the dark reaches out to you
And touches off a spark that comes shining through
It tells Du never be afraid
Then somewhere in your herz Du can feel the glow
A light to keep Du warm when the night winds blow
Like it was written in the stars I knew
My friend, my someone in the dark was you
Promise me we'll always be
Walking the world together
Hand in hand where dreams never end
My star, sterne secret friend and me
When someone in the dark reaches out to you
And touches off a spark that comes shining through
It tells Du never be afraid
Then somewhere in your herz Du can feel the glow
A light to keep Du warm when the night winds blow
Look for the regenbogen in the sky
I believe Du and I
Could never really say goodbye
Wherever Du may be
I'll look up and see
Someone in the dark for me
Wherever Du may be
I'll look up and see
Someone in the dark for me
Waiting for Du to find me

The good people of Canada never had a chance to view the Michael Jackson documentary, "Gone Too Soon" -- and now the owners of the flick are declaring war on the distributor ... claiming he personally screwed the entire country.
TMZ obtained a lawsuit filed Von Objective Films, LLC -- in which they claim they agreed to sell the French and Canadian distribution rights to a company headed Von a guy named Pierre Turgeon for $100k back in 2009.
Objective says they got the first $50k -- but Turgeon flaked on the back half ... and then tried to back out of the deal altogether. Objective was able to get the flick distributed in France ... Canada wasn't so lucky.

Not that we're trying to flatter ourselves, but don't people in Bahrain get TMZ?
AQ Business Consultants has filed a petition in the Michael Jackson Estate case, asking the judge for permission to belatedly file a creditor's claim, on grounds it didn't know there was a time in asking for money.
AQ claims it helped Michael refinance $320,000,000 in loans, for which it was entitled to a $3.2 million fee. AQ claims it's still owed $1.2 mil.
The deadline for filing a claim has passed, but AQ claims it didn't get proper notice.
Howard Weitzman, the lawyer for the Estate, tells TMZ, "I don't believe the claim has any merit but they're late in filing regardless."
But here's the thing ... TMZ is big in Bahrain, so what's the deal?

Production trucks have arrived at the Jackson family compound in Encino along with two black SUVs. Members of the production crew told TMZ they are there for "an Oprah shoot."
A security guard told TMZ Oprah will not be Wird angezeigt up ... so this could be filming for an introductory segment of the show.
No word on what the interview might be about ... but we're guessing the words Michael and Jackson will be used often.
UPDATE 5:10 PM PT -- No one has left yet, but there has been a visitor ... the Domino's pizza delivery guy!
UPDATE 6:23 PM PT -- The production trucks are getting a parking ticket. Put it on Oprah's tab.
UPDATE 6:39 PM PT -- The two SUVs have taken off and the production crew has begun to load equipment. Looks like it's a wrap.
