I think that Derek know, but Meredith is STILL confused!

Derek knows but he sometime turns himself to someone else (eg.Rose...grr) and Mer...well i think she is either not brave enough, dont know or she doesnt know how to SHOW it...

I understand why Derek would be dating Rose, he's tired of waiting after Meredith to want him, and he realize that he love her even if is dating Rose, remember that he said "I'll stay if you want me to" but meredith again said "go", and he said to Mark that he was thinking about Meredith when he was having sex with Rose... so I think Derek knows, and Meredith is sooo confused!! she's obviously care for Derek but she's not ready for something more serious or she's not sure if he's the one, or scared to get hurt, I'm not sure about this one, what do you think?

I don't quite even remember if one of them ever mentioned "love" word. I think they're both too stubborn and can't find a compromise.

as for derek: I think he knows it..he proofed it several times, and the only reason he went to rose was because meredith let him down-but I'm pretty convinced that he never really got over meredith,nor will he ever,full stop;-)

and meredith: deep down she knows it as well..he is the love of her life otherwise she would have moved on from him earlier and didn't hold on the thought that they might get back together..i know she rejected him several times, but its just her nature, it does not mean that she does not know that they belong together..

But now Derek knows that Meredith loves him and want to be with him and Meredith is ready to trust in Derek.

Mark could tell that Derek was still in love with Meredith. Addison could tell that Derek was still in love with Meredith because she called the slutty nurse "McRebound" right in front of her. It's only a matter of time before Derek and Meredith realize they're still in love with each other. I can tell that Meredith still loves Derek because there was a sense of jealousy on her face when she saw him with the slutty nurse.

Mark and Addison could both tell that they were still in love with each other. Meredith started to realize she was still in love with Derek when she started getting jealous when she saw him with other people even his McRebound. Derek started to realize he was still in love with Meredith when he couldn't get her out of his head. Derek and Meredith realize they're still in love and plus Meredith figured it out when she was talking to Dr. Wyatt about her issues that she had in her relationship with Derek before and now she's over them. It's only a matter of time before they become a couple again.
