Reign Cancelled After 4 Seasons

After years of political drama, betrayal, and shocking deaths, sources tell EW that

will end after its upcoming fourth season. But the good news is that the show knows that the season 4 finale will serve as its series finale, which gives the writers a chance to end the show in the best way they see fit. As for that ending, the series finale is likely to fall in early-mid June.

The drama, which is currently filming, returns to The CW on Friday, Feb. 10 at 9 p.m. ET for its 16-episode final season.
