Is Lost getting better and better Von every season?

Am I the only one who thinks so? that Lost is getting better from season to season?

Du can see that:

1-In season 1 it was not very exciting featuring boring flashbacks ,very few deaths,a little about the monster and featuring the others as a myth until the finale.

2-In season 2 it was Mehr exciting when the survivors met the tailies and the hatch was blew open finding Desmond and a button to push every 108 Minuten oder else the world "is going to end" and the Micheal taking off and returning compromised from the others camp thing sends out a party to go grab Walt causing their own abduction as the struggle for pushing the button was rising... Desmond realised they had to push it which led Locke to the Destruction of the computer which caused Desmond to blow the Hatch up with the Fail-safe key.

3-With their Fate unknown Lost's Tensions rises up again with season 3 Jack discovers that the others Just want him to do a Spinal surgery to their leader.... Benjamin Linus Which causes him to use ben as a leverage during the surgery allowing Kate and Sawyer to Escape. Meanwhile....
A mute Locke wakes up in the Jungle and finding Eko Lying in a Strange cave Locke Saves him only to be killed Von the monster soon afterwards.
and Desmond finds himself in the past living a Tag from his life again and then brought back to the island naked in the middle of the Jungle .
at the finale after Juliet Joins the survivors and after Jack's Famous Speach "We stop running we stop hiding" The survivors decide to face the others Ultimately Following Noami's Instructions A woman Claims she's here to save them and that her boot is only 80 miles off ufer but ben insists that she's lying leading him to intercept the survivors trek to the radio tower.
alone...Ben Demands 5 Minuten with Jack in which he tells the others at the strand to kill Jin , Sayid and Bernard.Jack thinks he's Bluffing but he's not I bet all of Lost Fans were scared to death at that point.But Tom didn't Shoot them then Hurley drives the Dharma transporter, van over one of them Leading Sawyer and Juliet to easily subdue the remaining others. Meanwhile Charlie and desmond dive into the looking glass and kill all the others in there and Charlie enters the code causing Penelope Widmore to send a Transmition to Charlie and as they talk Charlie realises That the freighter is not her's meanwhile Mikhail bombs the window to drown Charlie But not before he Delivers his final Massege "NOT PENNYS BOAT"

4-Season 4's Most Vital Element is Real Lost Excitment After the Survivors teilt, split into two factions : Jack's Group and Locke's Group Because some of the think that the Freighties are Coming to kill them and some thinks they're her to save them When Locke's Group is Attacked whoever Survives returns to the Camp Don't Forget Claire was Lost in the Process and The Quest to ove the island begins and ends at the finale when Ben Actually moves the island while the oceanic six were in the air leading them to crash at sea and to be Rescued Von Penelope Widmore.

5- There's not much to talk about season 5 but I can sat that in season 5 Lost Really Begins to Manipulate time.

I Expect Kommentare I don't Feel my hands due to Schreiben so much.

filmfocus i think you have rated the first season rather harshly! Season One of LOST is the finest tv i have ever seen. the emotional punch of each character's flashback was awe inspiring! and Jack's goodbye to Sawyer is one of my favourite LOST scenes ever!

Emm_xD All seasons are amazing, just in different ways. I think people only find Season One boring now because compared to Season Five, it doesn't have much going on. I do agree they have gradually gotten better and better, but that doesn't mean that Season One was crap just because season's have got more interesting! Good article though, interesting points :)

italiangirl976 I think its getting stupider ever season. and also its not them who is lost its people watching the show who are lost. Don't get me wrong I love this show but I kinda think its getting stupid. and very confusing.

courtney7488 Good article, but I disagree. Each season has had its pros and cons. Personally, this is how I would rank the seasons: 1. Season 1- laid the foundation for the show. I still think that a majority of the flashbacks from this season are fascinating, despite what we know now. 2. Season 3- lots of great character development for most of the characters, loved all of the plot twists 3. Season 4- to me, it just felt like it was missing something, but I can't put my finger on what 4. Season 2- most of it was pretty dull, in my opinion If season 5 continues to be just as awesome as these first few episodes have been, it has potential to pass season 1 on my list :-)

Giovanni_wasto I think with your argument alismouha you had a conclusion in mind and built all of your reviews around proving your conclusion right. Thus your reviews make no sense whatsoever! I could do the same thing; imagine I want to say that Lost is getting worse season by season (not that I think it is - it's really more of a positive quadratic curve). I would then say: "Season 1 was amazing, the writers took their time over all the flashbacks and character development was really worthwhile. Every episode told a story in itself and the centricity of each episode around a single character was revolutionary. Season 2 carried on this theme, but if anything exaggerated the slow pace too much, and the storytelling aspect dwindled as a result. It took 24 episodes to cover 4 episodes worth of material. Still, the introduction of new characters made interesting viewing. Season 3 unsettled the feeling of the show by ruining our illusion of the others as savages too early. We lost our fear for the others, and with a lack of an 'evil' aspect to the show (and with the monster not appearing very often) there was not enough bite to the season. In an attempt to revive the series, season 4 was cut to 16 and then 13 episodes. This had the result of speeding the show up too much if anything. Flashforwards were interesting but we lost the idea of having an event in a character's past showing us why they took a particular course of action in the present - this is what made Lost great in the first place. Previous seasons took time to show us how the characters emotionally responded to situations - e.g. the Ana Lucia crying scene, or Locke banging on the hatch. Season 4 was too concerned about a fast-paced story. Season 5 is looking similarly guilty and the loss of the idea of each episode being centric around a single character is a grave one. It has also taken too long for the skipping time on the island to delve deep into the island's history - a chance to see the origins of Hanso etc. Hopefully the writers will fix this soon, but 4 episodes is too long to wait." See what I mean? The fact is that you can't judge a season by how many deaths there are or how many times the monster appears. These are just things that happened, not things that necessarily made it good. If the writers made an episode where the monsters and the others are constantly on the screen, every single character died and there was a flashback with loads of high-octane explosions and shooting, but the episode made no sense whatsoever, would you be happy?

Now Charlie dies and Claire barely blinks or the Island starts time traveling and all Sawyer can give is us is a couple of "sonnofabitch"s. Lost is great, but I really do miss the characters, you know? (Very well said comment, Goivanni, I completely agree :))

filmfocus wise words Giovanni_wasto. LOST is unique, no other tv show can have such deep & varied conversation, debate & theories as this show just watching the latest episodes of LOST, makes you appreciate Season One. JJ was laying the foundations, every scene meant something... Re-watching an old episode from Season One, we see Locke have a vision of the drug dealer's plane go down (was this a vision... or a MEMORY!) when he finds the plane with Boone, his right leg randomly seizures up (was this a physical manifestation of the memory where Ethan shoots him in the right leg in Season 5!) The creators have got it all worked out! they're GENIUS's ;-D

ladycroft excellent article! i agree with everything althoug i pretty liked season 1, since the very first episode i loved the show, and this season is the best so far! i hope it keeps that way! can't wait to see what comes next!

Nicole001 Love all seasons. But since season 3 I became very annoyed by the love triangle. It made Lost look like an soap opera. But still this is an amazing show. I can't pick a favorite season. They are all good.
