All of seasons 1-3 were LP's build up for season 4, and all of season 5 was LP's build up for season 6. Just because a guy doesn't "fight" for the girl doesn't mean they didn't have build up lol. And I gotta admit I do think a majority of season 1 BL was shallow:/{more on Luke's part}

^ Completely agree. Just because LP's build up wasn't an "in your face", obvious type of build up... it was still very much there. Signs of them reuniting were flying around all over the place, I think some people just chose not to see them.

them reuniting in 4x09 should not have been a surprise to anyone. it couldn't have been more obvious that they were not over. therefore, their build up was definitely there all along

I also think that Brucas was mostly shallow in season 1. Mostly at the beginning. And like moosh said, more on Lucas' part.

This is ANOTHER lame thing LP'ers say!!! Ok they had shallow moments, but every TEENAGE couple does. Leyton where shallow in moments too!! Ughhhh!

As a Brucas fan I will say they were a little shallow in the first season, not completely, but somewhat. I do think that LP had build up , but Brucas did as well. From the end of season 1 and on to the end of season 5 it could have gone either way.
