Black Dog is a really cool song, Plant's voice is cool in that song!!!

Kashmir is my favorite Zeppelin song. Black Dog is a close second.

Stairway to Heaven wasn't here?!... I ACTUALLY had to add it?!... well, most of "today's people" only know Led Zeppelin by THAT song (I know many more songs from them, it's just that Stairway to Heaven is my favorite)... there are definetly other good songs they wrote, like The Song Remains the Same, Whole Lotta Love, Dazed and Confused, Good Times Bad Times, Immigrant Song, Achilles Last Stand, Fool in the Rain, Wearing and Tearing, In My Time of Dying, The Ocean, Misty Mountain Hop, Ramble On, Hey Hey What Can I Do, etc(!)...the list goes on... and that list I just made up right on the spot has at least one song from every album they released... I'm a hardcore fan... and as Led Zeppelin is my second favorite band (The Beatles are my first), it's hard to pick my favorite song they wrote, since I like them all so much... (well, unlike The Beatles, where I haven't decided my favorite song yet) I picked Stairway to Heaven because of it's mixture of genres, showing their flexibility with putting so much into just one song, it shows just how skilled each member is... Robert Plant's amazing, flexible, emotional voice, Jimmy Page's astounding capability of skill and emotion in every single 6 and 12-string note he plays at any time in the song, practically "controlling" the whole song with his guitar playing, it demonstrates John Paul Jones' supporting, melodious, (well, flexible) and funky bass lines, along with his amazingly "coordinated" and "holy" woodwind (I think... it sounds like flutes or recorders or something) "effects" on a keyboard, and John Bonham's eruptive, driving and explosive drumming style... well, I've practically written a whole essay, so yeah, Stairway to Heaven is my favorite Led Zeppelin song and I'm quite surprised it wasn't a choice to pick originally...

In The Evening has an awesome guitar solo, plus, I really like the intro - it actually makes my hair feel like its standing on end, is how epic it is.

I like Stairway to Heaven a lot....but omg Kashmir is awesome! I love the haunting lyrics and music.

I love "In The Evening" becase of it's amazingly simple but completely killer guitar riff. Plant's singing is incredibly unique and in my opinion it sounds better than any other song. I can almost guarantee that there are people who do not know this song seeing as it is one of their later and potentially more obscure songs, but if you have not listened to this amazing song, you should immediately. :-)
